Old Growth, Animist's solo project, creates seven compositions that function as initiation ceremony into primal wilderness. Each track dedicates itself to different aspects of nature – from majestic woodland queens to mystical wisdom altars.

Animist's radical approach lets wild nature itself speak through the instruments, rather than human interpretation of natural sounds. Shamanic chants merge with primitive rhythms into a sound that's simultaneously meditative and feral.
